hmmmm, 8 interesting things about myself, then tag 4 - 8 others to do the same

1) When I was a baby my aunt refused to believe that I was not a child from the movie 'Children of the Dammed' i was SOO serious and intense. By the age of 3 i could still fit in to the outfit my mother brought me home from hospital in and it freaked her out to see such a small person walking and talking. (i didn't grow till i was about 11 and now I'm 5ft6")

2) Growing up from the age of about 8 i was beyond tomboy! i WAS a boy (or at least a girl in some serious denial!) untill you just cant deny by the age of 15...stupid boobs!!! photographic proof needed here also i think....



3) My mum is awesomely cool. among other things...when i was 9 she put my older sisters bra on me....stuffed it....and took me to see the 'Full Monty' while i should have been at school (the movie is a 15 in the UK)

4) i was a secret Michael Jackson fan...i wanted to BE Michael Jackson :)

5) I've always been afraid of upsetting people! i was SO good at school, never got detention, and loved mainly by the male staff...my teachers were my friends. I never wanted to leave school and miss it like a lost loved one. (its only been two years.)

6) I've never wanted to grow up beyond the age of 6. had some rough times after that and i guess that's where my mind lies of how i remember 'my family' oh, and i still sleep with my Rosie bear...who dispite the name, is and always was a boy. My uni friends teased me that i had a gender confused bear.

7) Music sends me back in time. i can literally feel it. I never talk about problems and i HATE mushy sentimental talking (although ill admit it is sometimes needed, but i don't do it.) and i don't like to remember the past...it upsets me to think of happy times.

8) I'm a painter by heart. its what I'm best at, but i love how instant photography can be! especially film.

well that's enough of me for a while.

Rain at the beach

but it couldn't stop us!! hahahaha,
2 hours swimming in the sea with the wind and rain crashing against us, and I'm still alive, so are the kids we took (although slightly bluer than usual). didn't get many photos because of the rain and sand against my camera kept causing an error.

but here are a few...












this is my sisters little niece Georgia...she's the coolest little kid....ran straight into the water on sight! her lips went blue before we could get her out!



Matt had gone to Holland for the week because of work, and the coolest part is i get to go meet him there Thursday, and spend the weekend there....so expect some photos of the amazing city Amsterdam :)

but before that, I'm finally gonna make a start and finish on getting the house sorted :( its such a big job, what with all my dad's stuff from storage which i cant seem to shift. but its GOING to go!!!! I'm determined!

Oh and finish on some SP tonight, makeup and idea by holly, all done with one eyeliner and a lipstick (all the makeup i own lol)

Everything has been going horribly this week, stuck indoors with the baby.....but Jessie to the rescue....she came and entertained us Wednesday.

so took some photos of her in my garden





then just a few of the beast when the heavens closed and allowed us to go outside for 10mins, take some photos....retrieve my sodden washing, and feed/water the bunnies.

off to the city today to find pretty clothes and props for out beach trip saturday...im planing on LOTS of photo experimenting :)

Last week...

We had a bit of a funky week last week. Visited lots of fun places with the baby, got a tonne of animals (well....two rabbits and a bird, but that's a lot for our tiny house!) just wanted to share some 'Taylor Art' from last week. I've decided to do some themed art with the kid, to make her photos more interesting and nice for her mama.






this reminded me of a REALLY classical portrait, but i just love how she's covered in her dinner!!! to me, it add the extra 'zing'.

I had the opportunity to photograph my friends little girl again on Sunday at their leaving party. she is the most serene little girl ever. and has a really intense look, and beautiful eyes.
she has so many problems with her sight and takes her a long time to focus on anything you show her, but refuses to wear her glasses due to the fact that she is obsessed with how she looks, lol. i love her!

i took a few of her showing me how she can do handstands etc, then we went off to eat some ice cream as i didn't want to push my camera on her. and about 10mins later she came up and said 'can we go take some more photos now'......i was more than happy too, and Holly painted the butterfly one her face.











this is a flower we found in my friends garden. i liked how spiky it is under the detail of the flower!

and although it got late and dark, we managed to get the big guys involved! lol, they were lining up to get their makeup done :)







lol, sorry so many pics, i have a lot of time on my hands Monday and Tuesday, when i should be cleaning! lol

Walking in Sunshine

OK, i HAD to share some of these before i take more and miss them.

my sister, niece Emily, Matt and i went for a walk in the beautiful sun today and found the most beautiful field....unfortunately, i don't have a wide angle lens, so mostly portraits *sigh* but i was quite pleased with them still.

so here are some ones i liked and goof ones also :) they look better bigger, just click to view large.

Matt spent the entire time trying to make her laugh, i gave up in the end and just left them to it!

ahhh, off to soak up more sun, the weather is being so kind to us this weekend, and after the MONTHS of rain and grey skies, i am so thankfull!!!

Children of Friends

Took Taylor to see some friends of mine who are leaving for Ireland soon :(

didnt get too many photos but her kids are BEAUTIFUL! Gonna see them again tomorrow, so may get some good ones.....








Matt finished work at 2 and came up to meet us in the park. He looked so pretty, how could i resist?
