i cant believe we're into week 11 already. where did my newborn go??? why was it so hard to shedual time for her newborn photos...i had such high expectations and ideas for her. but was near impossible. And to top it off.....here is a photo of the little sprout sitting up un-aided!!!

The Old Convenient Store

So for the last week, my sister in law and i have been on the look out for antique children's things to use as props. here are a few little cute things we found so far....

Imagine full of blankets and in a feild of long grass, or forest area....

This little chair is so tiny, like sized for a 2yr old.

a lot of the things we got we will fix up, like this yellow gardening kit, we'll paint.

I got a load of vintage cotton dresses also, just no photos yet!

this gorgeous little teddy from my little brother and sister

and her first pair of Italian Leather shoes brought in Italy from my Father. They live in the south of France, an hour drive away from Italy, and he loves their shoes. I have to admit, they are the softest leather and just beautiful.

And this is the first appearance of the bump, 26 weeks tomorrow.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, so ill go take some photos of the neighbourhood and our house.
We got a new bed and dresser delivered today, its starting to look like a house almost.

Just playing around to get some ideas for the final shots of the Matilda Jane clothes. These were actually for 8-10 yr olds, and she is a very tall very skinny 11 yr old. but all the same, the time/sunlight/location worked beautifully! i was really excited to get something done...lets just hope the sunshine holds up.

the sun quickly got lower and much more orange, and the sky was SO blue!

I probably have a few more to share, but i have too much work to get done this week.

Hayden is obsessed with my rabbits, the second he arrives....its 'Milly RABBITS!' so we went out in the rain and fed and watered them. He was fine for a while...but then out came the wrecking ball attitude. Seriously he is such a 'BOY'!!! lol.

Got the baby back now the holidays are over....and we went shopping with Jessy and got some new shoes :)

More to come....but i have my driving test tomorrow...eeek, and i have a blood test just before. I HATE needles so im freaking out that i may still be being a turd for my driving and ill mess up and fail....so here's to hoping, lol.

Taylor got her first 2 teeth this week. the top too managed to finally push through....i thought it was usually the bottom 2 first. well she's 11 months old, we're just happy she got some. when they grow down a little more, i'll get some good shots of them.

I promise, i did not ask for this, i prefer them a little more natural, but with a 3yr old ill take what i can get. especially if its this cute.

today was a lovely day, despite the weather. i had my last driving lesson before my test (which i need to book), the baby was so nicely behaved in the car. and she's getting so funny now too.

Oooo, and also some news, slightly more interesting than my daily verbal vomit i usually post. Anyone remember this bunny??? well...him and his sister have been up to no good, and last Friday she gave birth to what i think is 5 healthy pink babies. Not sure how many yet because we cant hold them. So exciting for a make-believe spring shoot Denise ;)

OK, so i got one sweet one.

well i can write while the baby naps, she's not asleep yet, just singing in the cot.

its freezing here today, i mean like serious winter cold. although for the first time this year, the sky's are clear and blue. I need to find some good indoor locations. I was thinking of checking out some museums around London. but i doubt many would let me shoot there.
its funny, my sister and i seem to get into the weirdest locations. last week we were in a nightclub, but we turned up late, so instead of one or two people being there, there were about 60 guys round the bar. not good when you have to wear a tiny tutu and a corset while sitting on the bar surrounded by tiny red toadstools. lol, we got such funny looks. come December, ill upload the shots we got.

Maybe a hotel, hmmm, better go make some phone calls.

sorry this is a top for a 2yr old, but it looked so pretty on her and fitted as a dress so well :) plus i dont have anyone coming for photos till next tuesday, so i wanted to get creative.
i didn't get many good pics today, Taylor was SO grumpy and uncooperative, which is very unlike her. but she perked up in the late afternoon and we went for a nice walk.

she's getting so strong now too!

Things are looking good at the moment, been so busy, which is good, and i have so much house work to do. our washing built up so bad, Ive bagged it and shoved it in the shed, haha, its waiting to go to the laundrette, we have limited clothing and towls, i just cant seem to find the time to sort all this crap out.
i hate that the house is covered in baby things, yet we have no kids. No kidding, every corner you look at has toys, changing stuff, baby clothes, teddy's, baby chairs, push chairs....it goes on and on. Our spare room is now Taylor's room, for her crib etc.

but then i guess its a small price to pay, when i get to look at and photograph that gorgeous little face everyday. she just gets sweeter and sweeter. She can pull her self up on the furniture now.

We gave Taylor and apple. we cut a hole in it so she could taste it, lol. she was so sweet and kept licking it.

My step sister dropped her baby off Thursday night, so i had her all night till Friday lunch time. and she was an angel!
so we did some photos in the morning. not for long though, it was quite chilly. you might be able to tell from her slightly purple cheeks :)

Holly and i have been doing some work for Irregular Choice shoes, but cant post the photos till December :( i hate when I'm enthusiastic about something, but cant share it. oh well, soon enough.
gotta go get the house ready for the baby tomorrow. ugh, never ending cleaning!

The baby came to me sick this week, but behaved SO well. I was able to get stuff done as she slept so much. But by Thursday night i was, sick sick sick :( and in the night high fever, i couldn't walk and my body just hurt so much, so i couldn't work, clean, or do anything!
Its weird, seems that when ever people get ill a little, i get like 10times more ill. I do not have the best immune system.
Matt's gone to pick up his brother and sister-in-law, and I'm left to....well....clean :) (or play on my computer hmmm...)

didn't really get to take many photos this week, Taylor wasn't up for it, then neither was I.

but i took these after a well needed bath and a long nightmarish pooping session (Taylor's, not mine) it was a disaster!!! when i layher on the mat, it went all up her back, through her clothes, on her arms, neck, hands, in her hair....everywhere. I couldn't even work out how to move her from downstairs up to the bath, ugh....
but doesn't she look angelic here, lol considering what we'd just been through.

well, better go do something. its almost midnight and im sure matt and co will show up soon.

I've been inspired by Amanda's cemetery work since i found her on flickr.

i just love the textures on the old stone and the decay of the surroundings. and today, i found a tiny yet beautiful little cemetery with the most AMAZINGLY decorated iron doors. i will be returning when I'm fully prepared. i cant wait till i can drive and go seeking more interesting places to shoot my little muse :) she was so sweet today!

hmmmm, 8 interesting things about myself, then tag 4 - 8 others to do the same

1) When I was a baby my aunt refused to believe that I was not a child from the movie 'Children of the Dammed' i was SOO serious and intense. By the age of 3 i could still fit in to the outfit my mother brought me home from hospital in and it freaked her out to see such a small person walking and talking. (i didn't grow till i was about 11 and now I'm 5ft6")
(3 and a half here)

2) Growing up from the age of about 8 i was beyond tomboy! i WAS a boy (or at least a girl in some serious denial!) untill you just cant deny by the age of 15...stupid boobs!!! photographic proof needed here also i think....

3) My mum is awesomely cool. among other things...when i was 9 she put my older sisters bra on me....stuffed it....and took me to see the 'Full Monty' while i should have been at school (the movie is a 15 in the UK)

4) i was a secret Michael Jackson fan...i wanted to BE Michael Jackson :)

5) I've always been afraid of upsetting people! i was SO good at school, never got detention, and loved mainly by the male staff...my teachers were my friends. I never wanted to leave school and miss it like a lost loved one. (its only been two years.)

6) I've never wanted to grow up beyond the age of 6. had some rough times after that and i guess that's where my mind lies of how i remember 'my family' oh, and i still sleep with my Rosie bear...who dispite the name, is and always was a boy. My uni friends teased me that i had a gender confused bear.

7) Music sends me back in time. i can literally feel it. I never talk about problems and i HATE mushy sentimental talking (although ill admit it is sometimes needed, but i don't do it.) and i don't like to remember the past...it upsets me to think of happy times.

8) I'm a painter by heart. its what I'm best at, but i love how instant photography can be! especially film.

Rain at the beach

but it couldn't stop us!! hahahaha,
2 hours swimming in the sea with the wind and rain crashing against us, and I'm still alive, so are the kids we took (although slightly bluer than usual). didn't get many photos because of the rain and sand against my camera kept causing an error.

but here are a few...

this is my sisters little niece Georgia...she's the coolest little kid....ran straight into the water on sight! her lips went blue before we could get her out!

Matt had gone to Holland for the week because of work, and the coolest part is i get to go meet him there Thursday, and spend the weekend there....so expect some photos of the amazing city Amsterdam :)

but before that, I'm finally gonna make a start and finish on getting the house sorted :( its such a big job, what with all my dad's stuff from storage which i cant seem to shift. but its GOING to go!!!! I'm determined!

Oh and finish on some SP tonight, makeup and idea by holly, all done with one eyeliner and a lipstick (all the makeup i own lol)

Everything has been going horribly this week, stuck indoors with the baby.....but Jessie to the rescue....she came and entertained us Wednesday.

so took some photos of her in my garden

then just a few of the beast when the heavens closed and allowed us to go outside for 10mins, take some photos....retrieve my sodden washing, and feed/water the bunnies.

see this one bigger, i really loved her expression, and the position of her little hand!

off to the city today to find pretty clothes and props for out beach trip saturday...im planing on LOTS of photo experimenting :)

We had a bit of a funky week last week. Visited lots of fun places with the baby, got a tonne of animals (well....two rabbits and a bird, but that's a lot for our tiny house!) just wanted to share some 'Taylor Art' from last week. I've decided to do some themed art with the kid, to make her photos more interesting and nice for her mama.

this reminded me of a REALLY classical portrait, but i just love how she's covered in her dinner!!! to me, it add the extra 'zing'.

I had the opportunity to photograph my friends little girl again on Sunday at their leaving party. she is the most serene little girl ever. and has a really intense look, and beautiful eyes.
she has so many problems with her sight and takes her a long time to focus on anything you show her, but refuses to wear her glasses due to the fact that she is obsessed with how she looks, lol. i love her!

i took a few of her showing me how she can do handstands etc, then we went off to eat some ice cream as i didn't want to push my camera on her. and about 10mins later she came up and said 'can we go take some more photos now'......i was more than happy too, and Holly painted the butterfly one her face.

this is a flower we found in my friends garden. i liked how spiky it is under the detail of the flower!

and although it got late and dark, we managed to get the big guys involved! lol, they were lining up to get their makeup done :)

lol, sorry so many pics, i have a lot of time on my hands Monday and Tuesday, when i should be cleaning! lol

my sister, niece Emily, Matt and i went for a walk in the beautiful sun today and found the most beautiful field....unfortunately, i don't have a wide angle lens, so mostly portraits *sigh* but i was quite pleased with them still.

I wanted to take the baby out today to get some photos, but just as i'd fed, cleaned, got her to sleep in the pram and ready to go.........it rained!!! i couldnt believe it! its been gorgeous weather all week except today after lunch! hmmmm

so i took some of her for about 5mins on the bench in my garden. so not the best compositions, but i've been dying to play with amandas actions and get some photos of this new coat i brought for taylor (on sale for just £4/$8)

she lookd like a doll in it, cuz its HUGE on her!

ok so i finally got round to uploading some of my holiday snaps from Croatia. we had a heat wave while we were there...seriously it was too hot at 7am! so we didnt do too much sunning, but we got a lot of culture and a few nice photos.

so glad its the weekend. I've been proofing all week for this prom photography we did for a performing arts school. my sister and i have been so busy, we did the set design, hair and make-up (for some) and all the photography....oh, and made a dress for one of the girls, talk about hectic. the theme was A Mid Summer Nights Dream, so it all had to be fairy-like and creative. dont you just LOVE huge rooms of 15yr olds :(

and this week has been my second week with the adorable yet demanding little baby Taylor.

its hard cuz she cant sit up yet, and refuses to be in a separate room to me, or sit in any kind of chair for more that 3mins. so I'm trying to get housework, prom photos and other crap done with a drooling baby glued to my hip at all times. Man am i glad she goes home at nights :) she is lovely though, and is gonna make for some damn good photos!!!

Back from honeymooon, was amazing, but i have so many photos to go through, im gonna start from the start.

I hardly ever get to see my little loves anymore since my dad moved them out to france. but i was so lucky they came to my wedding party last friday.
i didnt get much chance to photograph them, but i couldnt miss the chance to sneak out my camera!

UGH......hopefully ill visit them next month sometime and get some good ones at the beach! horray.

i did get a few, but none i like too much.

thought the lens flare was cool here, she has these sticks she throws and does tricks with, she's really good too. it's so sweet, she puts a hat down in the market and makes herself a little cash :)

i think this is all i got from the 5 mins of camera time. they just kept running away. hmmm i definatly need to get them trained up again, like before. they used to be great! :)

im SOOOO annoyed with myself after this shoot. i had my iso on the wrong settings from the night before for the WHOLE shoot and ruined it all!!! i got like 4 pics that were fine and the rest im trying to save with PS, but i doubt ill have much luck :(
Was a long day though with two 1yr old boys and two 4yr old girls! lucky for me they were best friends so were on best playing happy behaviour!

So nothing to do today....attempted to unpack some boxes...not going well!!! i ended up playing about with cherries and eyeliner...hmmmm producted

i liked this one, been usuing manual focus....and love it SO much more, stupid auto. i just liked how this looks like paint with such a short dof.

also been playing with PS....just some fun.

i have a shoot with a childrens designer tomorrow morning. first big thing, there's gonna be 2 little girls 4 and 7 and 2 babies 6months. so hopefully will have a lot more to talk about then.

so my damn blog managed to just STOP working and the whole this is just gone!!! grrr

well I'm starting again, so whats new? hmmmm
not a lot, I finally got our house sorted out all tidy and clean. which of course was the exact time my dad decided to get all of his things out from storage (4 huge crates) back from when he sold his place and moved to France, and get it delivered to our tiny little house. ARRRHHH its so stressful having all this junk around. we cant get to our washing machine, so Matt is running out of clean clothes for work and also there is no space for the ironing Bord, so their all crumpled! its insane.

on a brighter side, i got some good chairs out of it, and some bookcases. and every object Ive had since the age of 7 haha.

I'm doing some photography for a beautiful children's designer http://www.littleeglantine.com/ our first shoot is on Wednesday, then all next week.

Oh, and i have a job starting July 4th taking care of my stepsisters baby. she's 5 months old and just too adorable! yay lots of pics, and can finally try out all my ideas and photography with her.
